Questers’ Giving Programme has been active for more than 14 years now but 2022 was probably one of the most successful years for the programme so far. We managed to further broaden its scope, attract new partners and engage more colleagues through different activities.
During 2022 the focus of the programme remained education, however, we couldn’t stay indifferent to a number of other incredible community and green initiatives as well. We are extremely happy to share that in 2022 the total amount raised and donated through Questers Giving Programme was 46 849 BGN. Most of this amount (33 023 BGN) was donated by our employees, doubled by Questers and then directed to various educational initiatives. In addition, through other campaigns, we collected and provided another 13 826 BGN to other social causes.
Here are some of the campaigns we supported in 2022:
- Telerik School Academy - the largest free IT education initiative for children in Bulgaria. In 2022 we supported 2 school academies in the towns of Montana and Sevlievo, where more than 40 children had the opportunity to acquire new digital skills.
- Teach for Bulgaria – one of our long-standing partners in the mission to improve the Bulgarian schooling system. Last year we supported their charity “Auction of the stars” and their efforts to attract more young people to the teaching profession.
- Vratsa Software – another like-minded organisation which works to improve the digital industry and grow the IT community in the town of Vratsa through professional courses. In 2022, we covered the tuition fees of 6 students in 2 of their programmes.
