2017 was full of exciting moments: we celebrated our 10th anniversary, won the Top ICT employer in the “Outsourcing IT Services” category for the second time and ranked in the top 3 employers in the country for 2017.

With the beginning of the new year, we are happy to introduce our new partners Pancentric Digital and The Catalyx who are expanding in Bulgaria with the support of Questers.

Тime flies quickly by and in October the moment to celebrate our 5th anniversary with the Sentiment team has come. And in November we celebrated our first anniversary with the DevOps-Guys team with the hope of many more to come.

On October 19th we’ve organised yet another Tech MeetUp with our partner Ocado Technology. This time our special guest was Adrzej Czarny - a Senior Software Engineer at Ocado.

On October 25th together with our partners from Ocado Technology and the Bulgarian Java User Group we’ve hosted vJUG24 for the second time.

At this year’s Halloween there was no trick-or-treating, we focused only on the treating.

Being true beer lovers on October 20th we’ve enjoyed the last autumn sunny days at the qBalcon tasting amazing freshlybrewed Bulgarian-Dutch craft beers.

On November 16th we brought our favourite games and boosted the experience with some good amount of beer and pizza.

This year along with the regular evacuation training we invited a professional firefighter for a practical course on Fire Safety.

Given the great success of the first edition of our joint initiative with Teach for Bulgaria we couldn’t miss the opportunity to organise a second one. In October QuizIt vol.2 gathered more than 100 IT professionals and raised 1500 BGN.

The second edition of The Big Tech Run – one of the biggest running events of the year, took place on 10th of December in Sofia Tech Park and despite the snowy weather gathered 250 professionals from the tech, science, media and finance sector.

As part of our constant efforts to support Bulgarian education in October we took part in the Manager for a Day initiative and welcomed two extremely talented students.

Rails Girls Sofia is an initiative we are strongly supporting for the past 4 years. Through organising regular open workshops Rails Girls is aiming to open up technology for more girls and women and to inspire them to start a career in the IT sector

We work hard, but party even harder. This year’s Christmas Party was one of a kind! We took off from Club Terminal 1 with one of the best Bulgarian rock bands Jeremy? on board and had an amazing flight.

Our Christmas Charity Bazaar is turning into a pleasant tradition gathering team members to sell & buy homemade sweets and treats, Christmas cards and decorations in the qClub.
