BizTalk Developer



  • 4+ years hands on experience with BizTalk – strong knowledge of BizTalk 2013 R2, system administration, BizTalk development and knowledge of a SOAP
  • Technical requirements: C#, WCF, SOAP, XML, Adapters, Orchestrations, BizUnit and BizTalk Assembled
  • Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions
  • Knowledge of BizTalk 2016 would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of TFS ALM and build automation would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Technologies (.Net/SharePoint/CRM/BI etc.) could be hugely beneficial
  • Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customisations
  • Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent projects may be required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English


  • Work to design client specific solutions and relevant specification, testing and installation documentation
  • Undertake development activities for Customisations, Interfaces, Orchestrations, Pipeline components, transformations and BizUnit test ensuring solution is fit for purpose and follows best practices
  • Training end users on developed items including highlighting potential data issues
  • Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building Maintain key customer systems and resolve any issues
  • Advise customers on best practice, roadmaps, upgrades etc.
  • Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist with risk management and change management on projects
