Marketing Training Coordinator

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a marketing training coordinator with a professional Instructional Designer background, to support the newly created Marketing Excellence team of a leading international consumer electronics company. The main goal is to provide with a strong marketing curriculum and facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner, leveraging at best supporting technologies (LMS, intranet...)

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOMETHING BIG:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
  • Oversee the training plan/schedule
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person training sessions and meetings
  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them, potentially using the support of external freelance experts
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Manages the LMS for the marketing community
  • Propose criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course catalog

Training content creation support: Support content creation in transferring content in best-in-class e-learning courses (defining brief, developing storyboard and ensuring the identification of all content objects are required (ie voice over, graphics, language translations)

  • POC to receive brief and develop storyboard & script for external e-learning developers
  • POC with external e-learning course developers (content creators, voice over...). Including managing contractual agreements and payment)
  • Ensure a certain level of consistency across all training through creating a toolbox to support content creators (visual identity, skeleton, video editing support ...)

Logistics coordinator for live and online trainings:

  • Main POC for all questions related to logistics for live and online trainings
  • Responsible for maintaining training calendar in the LMS

Tech Management (LMS, Intranet...)

  • Main Point of Contact for Subject Matter Experts to host content created
  • Main Point of Contact with the team owning the LMS - ensuring full alignment and understanding of latest technical releases, innovation roadmap and impacts. As well as raising pain points and business requirements to LMS.
  • Responsible for maintaining LMS & intranet Hub look and feel
  • Responsible for maintaining Marketing Hub clean list of users within Marketing department (with input from Mkg Excellence team, and P&C team)
  • Responsible for push notifications for upcoming trainings, and setting featured courses
  • Responsible for monitoring and producing dashboard of course participation, leaderboard, outstanding courses and user feedback
  • First Point of Contact of user questions and troubleshooting in LMS

OUR IDEAL TEAMMATE HAS/IS:

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Ideally, a good understanding of the marketing function and the multiple marketing type of jobs
  • Proactive self-starter with hands-on approach to the business, solution and results driven
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, Business & Economics or similar
  • Naturally well organized to manage multiple tasks & projects in parallel
  • Highly collaborative and good communication skills, to communicate complex ideas to nontechnical stakeholders and interact easily within matrix organizations.
  • Curious & Entrepreneur, with sense of ownership, accountability and at ease in undefined environment
  • Fluent English
