THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile React Native QA to join our mobile development team. The role will require you to use your skills in device, end-to-end, and automated testing to help ensure the quality of our mobile app. The ideal candidate will have experience in device, end to end and automated testing, writing test scripts, using AWS cloud and Appium.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOMETHING BIG:

• Conduct manual testing of mobile applications
• Analyse user stories, design and execute test plans and test cases to ensure quality and performance of the mobile app.
• Test mobile app features on various devices, including iOS and Android
• Troubleshoot issues related to the application and document results
• Write and manage bug tickets in Jira to ensure that all issues are properly tracked and resolved
• Ensure quality of the application by conducting unit, integration, and system tests
• Write end-to-end tests using Gherkin syntax to describe the scenarios and expected behaviour of the system
• Develop automated test scripts and analyse results
• Monitor bug reports and other customer feedback to ensure customer experience
• Collaborate with the development team to identify, resolve, and document defects
• Write clear, concise, and detailed bug reports
• Research, analyse, and report on mobile trends and customer feedback
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest mobile technologies and trends
• Document test results, defects, and issues using Confluence and ensure that the documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to the team

OUR IDEAL TEAMMATE HAS/IS:

• 2+ years of experience in mobile app QA testing
• Proficiency in device, end-to-end, and automated testing
• Experience writing test scripts, using AWS cloud and Appium
• Knowledge of mobile trends and customer feedback
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or can demonstrate 3-4 years professional experience as a QA or related field)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
