YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOMETHING BIG:
- The SecDevOps Engineer for the Syncplicity team will be responsible for managing the organization's security operations. This includes developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, conducting security assessments, and overseeing the development and deployment of secure applications
- The SecDevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that Syncplicity's products meet the highest security standards and comply with industry regulations
- You must also work with other teams to ensure that secure applications can be deployed quickly, effectively, and in accordance with security best practices
- You will be highly involved in security compliance audits
OUR IDEAL TEAMMATE HAS/IS:
- 5+ years in the Security field
- Experience with any of the following security standards: PCI DSS, SOC2, FedRamp, HIPPA, SOX, Incident Management, and Access Reviews
- Experience with AWS Security, Microsoft 365 Security, Kubernetes & Docker Security, Linux, and Windows Security
- Familiar with Security User Management, Infrastructure Vulnerability Management, Security Risk assessment
- Knowledge in Security Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) and dynamic application security testing (DAST)
- Static application security testing (SAST)
- Application Vulnerability Management
- Must be familiar with OWASP top ten
- Development of security-related documentation (policies, procedures, hardening guides, etc.)
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
BROWNIE POINTS:
- Knowledge of Building Security In Maturity Model (BSIMM)
- Knowledge of OWASP (Software Assurance Maturity Model) SAMM methodologies
- Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Archsight, Qradar, ELK + ElastAlert, and etc.)
- Hands-on experience with InsightVM vulnerability scanner
- Hands-on experience with Symantec Antivirus
- Hands-on experience with Ossec
