Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist



  • Questers is currently looking to hire a Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist for a large Multinational company in Consumer Electronics.
  • You will join a small team of specialists passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it. You will play a crucial role as part of an exciting team with start-up mentality in charge of developing our Global DTC (direct-to-consumer) eCommerce strategy & business
  • You will report into the Head of DTC eCommerce for EMEA & AP (based in Lausanne, Switzerland)
  • You will help us manage day-to-day sales & website operations for our direct-to-consumer eCommerce business across 30+ countries and work closely with category managers to execute commercial activations on our ecommerce platform & websites
  • You will define ways to streamline & optimize operational processes globally and work with X-functional teams on automation opportunities
  • You will own weekly business reporting & support eCommerce lead team with reporting & analytics across sales, traffic & conversion. You will support the performance marketing execution across paid media, affiliates & email, as well as, coordinate seasonal campaign execution on the websites


Secure best-in-class sales operations and execute commercial plans on the eCommerce platform & website

  • Manage day-to-day ecommerce sales operations & order management, liaising with eCommerce regional heads, category managers & X-functional teams (e.g. troubleshooting with customer care & supply operations)
  • Execute commercial activations on ecommerce platforms aligned with category plans (incl. set up of promotions, bundles & campaigns). QA & troubleshoot pre- & post-launch
  • Manage product catalog incl. coordination of New product launches on the websites liaising on key launch criteria with webteam, category managers, supply teams & country teams
  • Coordinate seasonal campaign execution with the X-functional teams across web, marketing, agencies & commercial teams and project manage launch plan
  • Lead projects related to end-to-end eCommerce process & operations optimization, proactively identify challenges and opportunities to streamline and automate
  • Be the main point of contact for all web related requests liaising between the organization & the webteam

Manage weekly business reporting, analyse sales trends & provide insights to the wider team

  • Own daily & weekly business reporting & analytics deriving insights to the wider Global eCommerce team across revenue & key ecommerce metrics (traffic, conversion & AOV)
  • Analyze eCommerce sales trends and operational data turning insights into action & recommendations to the wider team
  • Support category managers by building sales, traffic, forecasting based on seasonal and historical trends
  • Identify opportunities to evolve business reporting framework as the business develops & the team evolves

Support performance marketing execution across paid media, email & affiliates

  • Support the commercial leads & category managers with performance marketing execution & performance analytics
  • Ensure best in class execution of campaigns, lead QA and provide feedback to agency partners on improvements
  • Requires working in a team environment with other departments at The Company such as website team, marketing, customer care, supply chain & finance
  • Outside the Company - the position requires business relations, cooperation and work with Bulgarian and international clients, partners and suppliers and their professional teams


  • 4-7 years of previous working experience in eCommerce across website, commercial & operational aspects (e.g. Etailer, online marketplace or a brand operating a direct to consumer website eCommerce business)
  • Previous experience in managing complex eCommerce operations, projects and/or campaigns, as well as, Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or eCommerce platforms (e.g. Magento, Shopify, Digital River, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central etc)
  • Strong analytical skills / mindset, experience in managing complex data sets with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & collaboration skills. A true team player. Comfort and ease in working in a multi-functional global organization with many stakeholders
  • Project management & coordination experience
  • Experience in digital marketing would be a plus
  • Flexible mindset and comfortable with a start-up like, dynamic & fast paced work environment
  • Excellent time management skills with independence and flexibility to deal with multi-stakeholder, complex projects
