We spoke with Syncplicity's Director of Technology - Panayot Vladikov, to learn more about the project they're aiming to develop and the type of people they're looking to hire. Read what he shared with us.
1. You are a Director of Technology at Syncplicity. How did you come into this position? What was your educational and professional background?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Finance. For more than 16 years, I have worked in various technology-related roles, including Software Engineering and Engineering Management in large enterprise companies. I have led geographically distributed multicultural teams. In addition, I have experience with extensive hiring and team management experience. As a result, I have a successful track record of building and managing high-performance teams. My leadership is data-driven and result-oriented, with a strong customer focus. This background has enabled me to provide a comprehensive approach to the challenges that Syncplicity faces.
2. Tell us a bit about Syncplicity. How would you describe the company in a few sentences?
Syncplicity is a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) file-sharing and collaboration platform that enables businesses to sync and share data across multiple devices and platforms securely. With enterprise-grade security, real-time access control and automated workflows, Syncplicity ensures that users can collaborate safely and efficiently from any location. Syncplicity also provides a wealth of features and integrations to help businesses streamline their workflows and get their work done faster.

What kinds of people are you looking to hire for the team at Syncplicity? What skill and experience should the perfect candidate possess to fit the company?
We are looking to hire individuals who are driven, passionate and creative problem solvers. They should have a strong understanding of the cloud technology and the ability to learn and apply new skills, the fast way. For us, it is important our future team members to have experience developing and managing enterprise software, as well as managing customer relationships. The perfect candidate should possess strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills. Technical skills such as coding, scripting and database knowledge are a plus.
