It’s you - the great people we work with that make us a great and successful company, and our 10th anniversary is the perfect occasion to say thank you all for being part of our big family for all these years.

What is a 10th anniversary without a birthday cake and a lot of presents?

On the second Friday of June we gathered team members and partners to our newly decorated qBalcony to celebrate and enjoy music from a fantastic DJ, delicious food, plenty of drinks and a lot of surprises.

Many occasions to celebrate with our partners from Funding Circle, Version 1, SpotMe and William Hill.

Another series of exciting tech meet ups and trainings at Questers in cooperation with Ocado.

In April and May the second edition of our Quest Wars challenge took place. As a supporter of the local Java community, we gave a free ticket for the third jPrime conference for the winner.

Congrats to Emil Todorov who provided the best solution and won the ticket.

Later on, in May together with the Ocado Technology team we attended the third consecutive jPrime conference. We met great people, gave away some awesome prizes and our special guest Michal Plachta talked about “A Pragmatist's Guide to Functional Geekery”.

The week before Easter our qClub was all in colours. We love sharing creative moments together and dyeing Easter eggs was the perfect occasion in April.

On April 27th we held an event in support of the Teach for Bulgaria charity and their great mission for high quality education for every child.

Smart people play smart games, and in May we proved it with the first edition of our Blitz Chess Tournament. Our grandmasters played wonderful chess – we had 20 fast-paced blitz games in total, 9 players, and one winner of the Raspberry Pi Prize.

We may be grown-ups, but we still keep the children inside us. The 1st of June was the perfect occasion to set it free and to enjoy a fun family afternoon with Questers kids, a dinosaur and delicious treats.

As tradition goes we treat team members with a break from the regular grind of office work on the occasion of the main technology birthdays as a gesture of appreciation for their commitment and hard work.

In the beginning of April we supported the new initiative of our friends from CoderDojo – Coolest Project in Sofia 2017. The event gathered more than 250 children aged between 6 and 18, who demonstrated amazing and innovative projects.

At the end of April another favourite initiative took place. We are proud to be supporting Hack Vratsa and the local tech community for the second consecutive year. The theme this time was Games & Gamification and all participants presented amazing projects.
