Headquartered in London, with a presence in the USA, Funding Circle was established in 2010 and offers investment opportunities for both retail investors and financial institutions, providing business loans to SME companies. Since launching, through Funding Circle, over $500m has been lent to over 5000 companies, helping businesses expand, investors prosper and the economy to expand.
Recent recognition has come in the form of being listed in the FinTech50, the 50 most innovative and game changing businesses in the Financial Technology sector.
The rapid growth of Funding Circle over the past 4 years has been mirrored in the increasing size of the technology team and to enable this to continue, Funding Circle has chosen both Sofia, as a location, and Questers, as their preferred partner, to build a new development team outside of London.
