Questers is delighted to introduce its newest partner tails.com – a tech-centric startup that is using the power of technology combined with applied nutritionalscience to improve the food people give to their dogs.
tails.com was founded in 2013 by a small team of professionals with the goal to develop a smart way of creating a unique recipe for every dog. Six years later, the company employs over 170 experts, including vets, nutritionists and engineers (and their dogs) who make the delivery of 8 million tailor-made dog meals possible every month.
With the increasing popularity of their delicious unique recipe for every dog, the company aims to turn the 8 million orders per month into 8 billion. This will require developing more powerful nutrition algorithms and improving the current pricing engines while ensuring the very best user experience, and most importantly - attracting the right people.
To tackle this growth plan properly, tails.com has made an important decision to expand its software engineering team to Bulgaria. They have entrusted Questers as a strategic partner due to the company’s broad experience in assisting technology businesses in building, managing, and integrating multi-location dedicated dev teams.
The tails.com team in Bulgaria will be closely collaborating with the UK tech division on building robust full-stack services as part of their event-driven architecture. The tech stack includes Python on the backend, combined with Redis, DynamoDB, MySQL and S3 for data storage, as well as Vue.js on the frontend.
