Second Workshop on eCommerce Platforms Took Place in Plovdiv

QUESTERS AND JAVELIN GROUP, THE LEADING BRITISH INTEGRATOR OF ECOMMERCE SYSTEMS, HOSTED THE NEXT MEETING OF THE SERIES ENTITLED “TECH MEET-UPS”.

Building on the success of the first part of the seminar, entitled “Developing solutions using eCommerce platforms”, Questers Group offered to IT professionals from Plovdiv and the region modern know-how from some of the most experienced experts in the British systems integrator, Javelin Group. Keynote speakers were Steve Newland, Associate Director at Javelin Group, UK, and Dimitar Kolev, head of the development centre in Bulgaria.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about modern trends in the development of eCommerce systems. They were able to meet and share experience and knowledge in a discussion with their peers in the quiet atmosphere of the new office, which Questers Group opened in Plovdiv this summer.

“It was such a good event yesterday, everything was perfect for us and we’re really pleased with both the turn-out and the response”, commented Steve Newland after the event.

Among more than 40 guests in this free access session were many software architects, engineers, programmers and web developers with interests and experience in the field of eCommerce, as well as project managers working in the field of online trade.

Positive comments were prevailing during the get together party after the seminar. „It was a great seminar and extremely useful! Thank you!“, wrote one of the participants on the event’s Facebook page.

The Tech Meet-Ups series are part of Questers’ networking program for know-how exchange between Bulgarian IT experts and their colleagues from leading Western European and U.S. technology companies. Questers’ long-term goal is to build a professional community of specialists who can be competitive worldwide due to their high-quality education and wealth of practical experience. Those workshops are part of Questers Group investment in the IT branch of the Bulgarian labour market along with their two local offices based in Sofia and Plovdiv.
