Keeping our focus on supporting children and education Questers joined the initiative „Donate a Book“/“Подарете Книга“* and 100+ books for children were purchased and collected in under a month. In November we visited the kids at the children’s homes in Vratsa and Plovdiv bringing with us these loads of books donated with all our heart. We had some great moments together - reading books, piecing puzzles, playing table tennis, dancing and painting with the little sunshines.
Moreover, with the winter approaching very soon we have decided to expand the campaign and also donate warm shoes to the youngsters during our next visits.
*“Donate a book” is an initiative that was started almost 3 years ago and in 2012 became a registered NGO. The organization represents a group of volunteers that gather books (either at home or at their workplace) and donate them to the children’s homes in Bulgaria every month. So far more than 20 institutions have been visited and more than 7000 books donated. What’s more, many volunteers constantly donate the books in person, meet the children and become friends with them.
