QuizIT – a joint charity initiative of Questers and Teach for Bulgaria, gathered more than 100 IT professionals for a second time to support the Bulgarian education! The second edition of the quiz took place on 9th of October and challenged 14 teams from 10 technology companies. The participants answered questions in six categories – General knowledge, Education, Science, Sport, Music and Movies.
Through a charity raffle, the participants had the opportunity to support the cause of Teach for Bulgaria and to win great prizes. The raffle raised 1500 BGN and through its Giving Programme Questers donated additional 2000 BGN. The total amount of 3500 BGN will support 1 teacher from the programme for 7 months.
QuizIT was initially inspired by the previous editions of Questers’ internal Charity Pub Quiz and its main goal was to unite the tech community in Bulgaria to support the cause of equal access to quality education. Now the event is turning into a tradition and is starting to attract and engage more and more participants.
