Global E-commerce Business Analytics Manager

THE ROLE:

  • We are looking for a strong Business Data Analyst Lead who brings a deep understanding of eCommerce, a self-starter mindset and the passion to generate and drive usage of insights to help drive our strategic priorities
  • In this role, you will play a key role in our analytics transformation, ensure we have high-standard and consistent analytics in place on our top accounts and drive usage and data driven approach across our global organization
  • This role is a great mix of doing and guiding others. You will work with accounts to define the analytics framework, implement it and run the analysis to bring impactful insights that enable Online Customer Marketing Managers to build data-driven plans, while guiding the other accounts’ Analysts to do so.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOMETHING BIG:

  • Build Top Accounts Data analytics framework and run the analysis to generate actionable business insights (BestBuy, our Direct to Consumer business etc.)
    • Lead maintenance and integration of various sources of data.
    • Align important sales and marketing KPIs to track  to pilot the business and monitor performance
    • Design relevant dashboards to be automated to help decision-making with Tableau software
    • Deliver analysis of sales, customer marketing data & dynamics beyond financial indicators in order to identify and size business opportunities and risks
  • Drive the global Virtual Analytics team to ensure best practice sharing, consistent & sophisticated analytics as well as the best usage of insights to build data driven plans across top accounts
    • Onboard, train & support the accounts’ dedicated Analysts
    • Share existing framework, facilitate Best practice & learning sharing between accounts
    • Foster Innovation, community & explore new analytics to proactively recommend enhancements
    • Scale projects & drive synergies
  • Consolidate & share Global Etail Customer Marketing reporting, with deep dive per category, peak events or etailer, to understand gaps, opportunities and provide benchmarks
  • Provide Etailer’s Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis, Intelligence & profiling to inform strategic choices
  • Be the point of contact for data partners and liaise with other analytics functions to ensure synergies

OUR IDEAL TEAMMATE HAS/IS:

  • 8+ years of experience with proven record of analytics supporting business opportunities and growth 
  • 3+ years in E-commerce w. in-depth understanding of online reselling landscape & best practice
  • Bachelor or master's degree in a relevant field such as Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Business and Economics with a specialization in Business Analytics. Knowledge of algorithms, automation, statistics, data engineering, machine Learning, data architecture
  • Strong Expert in the use of analysis tools: Excel & Business Intelligence I.e Tableau software
  • Strong analytical and visualisation capability
  • Business KPIs understanding i.e sales data, margin, rebates, market shares etc.
  • Confident Leader and Proactive self-starter with hands-on approach to business, solution & result driven
  • Highly collaborative and good communication & influencing skills, to communicate complex ideas to nontechnical stakeholders and interact easily within matrix organizations. Fluent English
  • Curious & Entrepreneur, with sense of ownership, accountability and at ease in undefined environment
